About the artist

Jim Regan is a Scituate, Mass.-based artist who has been painting abstracts and abstract landscapes in acrylics for more than 20 years. He paints what the mind's eye views, combining influences from the sights, sounds and situations of his daily experiences. Color and design are often spontaneous, leaving the viewer to wonder what the message is -- a question he prefers be pondered rather than answered. 

He has studied art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the Fuller Museum, Brockton, Mass., and the South Shore Arts Center, Cohasset, Mass. His work has been exhibited at the North River Arts Society, Marshfield, Mass., Caswell Gallery, Boston, and the South Shore Arts Center.
